Working together, we can provide resources to support today’s students as well as the students of tomorrow. We are grateful for your belief in the value of a Heights Schools public education now and into the future.
Donors who make a current or multi-year gift or who notify us that they have provided for the Heights Schools Foundation in their estate planning at the $10,000 level and above are welcomed as members in the Legacy & Legends Society. Members receive special updates and are invited to an event each year as part of Homecoming Weekend.
In partnership with the Cleveland Foundation, we manage legacy gifts with special care. The Heights Schools Foundation gratefully accepts unrestricted contributions as well as designated gifts for our “Heights Schools Foundation Fund” at The Cleveland Foundation.
Heights Schools Foundation Fund provides resources to students through enhancing the classroom experience, expansion of opportunities for all students, and scholarships for graduating seniors. Bequests, gifts from trusts, other future gifts, and lifetime outright gifts (such as appreciated stock or Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRAs) are accepted in this ongoing program. Our partnership with The Cleveland Foundation ensures that your generosity is well managed and your contributions will help ensure the enrichment of education in the Heights Public Schools far into the future.
It’s easy to add an estate gift to your existing will or during the process of creating a will. You may also include a future gift in a trust. Simply let your preparer know your wishes or if you are using an online service, many provide the opportunity to insert a donation.
