Dr. Robert E. Braylock is a Writer, Healthcare Professional, Educator, and Unity, Equity, and Justice Practitioner. After graduating from Cleveland Heights High School, Dr. Braylock attended the University of Findlay, Ohio. While at Findlay he served as the Director for the Office of Intercultural Student Services, where he secured a grant to advance diversity, equity and inclusion within the city and county. During that time, Dr. Braylock developed a program for students to work with and serve immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers and a program for college mentorship to improve academic performance. From there, he graduated earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (healthcare management), Master of Business Administration (organizational leadership), Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and minors in biology, chemistry, and music (vocal performance).

Dr. Braylock is on a mission to establish prosperity and to eliminate poverty. With approximately 20 years as a healthcare professional, educator, and unity, equity and justice practitioner, Dr. Braylock is experienced in developing hundreds of initiatives that enhance the educational, employment, and economic wellbeing of both individuals and communities. For his work and impact, Dr. Braylock received the Henry Cade Memorial Award from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, one of the most prestigious awards within the field of pharmacy.

Dr. Braylock’s work is acknowledged by influential organizations and senior-level executives including the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the Jane Addams Peace Association, and former U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Jerome Adams. Dr. Braylock credits his development and success to his overwhelming and unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

  • Developed, secured, led, and managed a $1 million grant with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Minority Health within first two years as an entrepreneur
  • Received one of the most prestigious awards within pharmacy for racial and health equity work
  • Developed and launched RHOE CORP, a non-profit that focuses on eliminating poverty and establishing prosperity
  • Works with top healthcare organizations in the country, including publishing national guidance for healthcare organizations to establish racial equity
  • Developed a college pre-orientation and mentorship program that had a 100% graduation rate for peer mentors, and a retention and persistence rate of 80% and 90%, respectively, for first-year BIPOC, low SES, and first-gen students
  • Secured a grant through the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the city and county
