The Deb Delisle Scholarship

Deb Delisle was Superintendent of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District from 2003-2008, before becoming The State of Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction. During her tenure, she brought an unprecedented and contagious energy and passion, as well as an unyielding belief in every student in the District. Her focus on the success of all students, articulated through her mantra, “Every Student, Every Day, Some Success, Some Way,” charted a path toward excellence which continues to motivate the future of the Heights Schools.

This scholarship honors the achievements and spirit of Ms. Delisle, a first-generation college graduate herself, by extending her legacy in the way she would find most rewarding: helping a student have the same opportunities provided to her.
