Heights Schools Foundation would like to give a special thanks to each and every person who has made a donation to our brick paver campaign. The pavers are an amazing adornment to the Heights High School courtyard. The older historic pavers, in addition to newly placed pavers, have all been beautiful blended together. If you take a closer look, you’ll notice that we have installed blank pavers for future donors to choose inscriptions. Learn more about current opportunities.
P.S. Unfortunately, Ohio winters are harsh, and even bricks can’t stand up to frost heave forever. Although a brick can last for decades, others give in to normal wear and tear sooner. It is likely to last a very long time, but we can’t guarantee how long, and bricks are the property of the CHUH School System. But, even more importantly, your gift will make an impact that goes on and on regardless of the impact of the weather. The brick donations since 2017 have not only created the beautiful installation around the flagpole in the front yard of Heights, including the installation of historic bricks, but donations also funded more than $15,000 in scholarships for graduating seniors and over $17,000 in classroom enrichment grants.
