Julianna Johnston Senturia Will Be Resigning from Her Position

11

I write to announce that our Executive Director of Heights Schools Foundation (HSF), Julianna Johnston Senturia, will be resigning from her position as of July 31st, 2022. Since 2016, Julianna has played a critical role in the founding, development and success of the organization. We will miss her tremendously, yet we know we can count on her ongoing support as a proud alumna. Julianna leaves Heights Schools Foundation in an exceedingly strong position for continued growth. Under her leadership, HSF has raised nearly $1.5 million dollars for Heights Schools.

Julianna will continue to work with us through July, at which point a successor Executive Director or interim administrator will be named. The Heights Schools Foundation Board of Trustees in partnership with the CH-UH School District will oversee the process of permanently filling the position. There is an Executive Transition Plan to guide the joint process. We are confident that Julianna and the staff will make this a smooth transition for our alumni, community members, partners and supporters.

We begin our process of change with a message from Julianna, one of her stellar fundraising ideas, and generous gift: “I’m so grateful for the time I’ve spent giving back to the schools that have done so much for me. I’m proud of what we’ve built together. Please join me in marking this moment with a contribution to The Tiger Fund for Graduating Seniors. My husband Harris and I are both from the Class of 1987. We will match dollar for dollar raised for scholarships up to $1,987.00, between now and the end of July,” said Julianna. You can make a contribution here.

Complete details for applications for the new HSF Executive Director role will be available soon in partnership with the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools’ Human Resources Department. If you have any questions about the transition, do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Dr. Susan D. Carver
President, Heights Schools Foundation
